Tekkitopia Chapter 1: Burnt

Kitty's POV

The last night in this reality is ripped in half as I stand on the hill, my world burning up into flames. Houses burn, I hear screaming, as I stand there, silent. My nightgown billows in the wind as my teddy hangs limply from my hand. Tears stream down my cheeks, as I just stand there, the last of all I knew withering away into nothingness as a small creepy smile appears on my face.  Then, I fall into a world of black, as the universe crumbles away into the darkness forever...

Xephos's POV

"Honeydew!" I shout into the trees as a young dwarf, sleeps peacefully, Jaffas all around him. He jumps up as I shout, falling out of the tree. He stands up. "Xephos I'm tired!" he wines like a little kid. Not that he doesn't act like one. My eyes glow blue with annoyance.  "You're eyes are glowing..." He points at me.  "Just  hurry up and get back to base." I roll my eyes before walking back to the old jaffa factory. I came to collect the marble, and the strange vines. However, as I jetpack up to the 2nd floor, a body is laid on the floor. I rush over to it. A girl is strewn out, the tips of her light brown hair charred black. She has burn marks on her, and blood pouring down her left cheek. I throw her over my shoulder, and hurry back to Hole Diggers. Maybe Lalna knows what to do.

As the big H comes into view, I hear Lalna. I touch down on the ground and run inside. He's upstairs. "Lalna! Help! NOW!" I shout upstairs. I rush up the levels using my jetpack, before coming to an empty floor. Empty if not for 2 people standing in the room. Lalna spins around, alarmed. "Oh my god!" He runs over as I put the girl on the floor in front of me. That's when I see another person. She looks just as injured as this girl, but she has an aura. Magic? But there's no other sourcerer than Rythian here. She runs over to the figure, looking at us. Her voice is cold and her words simple. "Leave. I'll deal with this."
"Are you sure? We don't even know who you are-"
"Leave already!" She sounds annoyed, so me and Lalna quickly exit. She makes motions with her hands, as red and purple magic swirls in her palms.

---Flashback to a place lost in time---

Aerieanne's POV


I walk into this strange new place, as hundreds of simpletons rush past me. I search through the crowds for one of my friends, but I can't find anyone. This place is filled with too many non-magical beings for me to detect anything! Where are they?   A bell sings through the halls, and I rush down the stairs. As I do, I stumble, and begin to fall. I fall into a black void, and pass out.

---Time skip---

I open my eyes,  and the first thing I notice is a red towery-building with spikes and smoke coming out of the top of it. Where am I? I drag myself up, barely managing to sit up straight. My head kills... I rub my tired eyes and stumble to my feet. I cling onto the red wall, as I look down at myself. How did I get here?  I'm so confused right now... Then I hear a voice. "Okay so I need to get some- who the hell are you?!" It's a man's voice. I swing around to see someone with blonde hair and goggles over his head. I swung around too quickly and fall to the floor, dizzy. "Ouch..." I raise my hand to my head, looking up.  The man has rushed over to me now.  I lower my hand to see blood smeared on it.  He looks horrified. I'm just as appauled as he is. "Oh god! Are you okay?!" I shake my head. My throat hurts too much to speak.  "Here. You're coming with me." He pulls out some weird gun, shoots at the wall and pushes me towards it. I go through a portal and end up with a big building shaped like a H looming over me.

I'm dragged into the H building, and teleported to an empty floor of the building. The strange being has now started to rush around looking for various medical materials, however I begin to focus and soon a red and purple aura resonates from my chest. As he enters the room, he pauses.
I cast a healing spell, and instantly, the pain fades. But the cuts are still there...
"You're a mage?" His eyes are filled with curiosity, but behind that there's something else...Fear? My train of thoughts are interrupted by shouts from downstairs.  Who else is here?
